Bournemouth University have analysed what is the perfect TV episode by the % of story elements. Interesting but also a little disheartening to reduce it down to % formula. But at least we now know we should go for twice as many shocks as romance. So the perfect episode would therefore be:
- They kiss (romance)
- He dies (shock)
- She dies (shock)
